Crown of Egypt is an Ancient Egyptian themed online slot machine game from International Gaming Technology (IGT). The game has twenty independent reels and up to forty active paylines. Symbols and Style

Crown of Egypt has a dark look with a black background and pretty golden highlights, much as you would expect from an Egyptian themed slot game. The graphics however are gorgeous. The symbols beautifully drawn with great attention paid to both them and the background.

The symbols are also expected, and can be found in all over ancient Egypt; Pyramids, Hathor, Ra, Cleopatra, Anubis and of course the Crown of Egypt Logo.  The basic symbols are also very pretty, drawn with gold highlights and taken from the deck of playing cards, namely J, Q, K, and A. The Crown of Egypt logo symbol acts as the wild, and can substitute for any other symbol on the board. Should a player find the translucent pyramid icon, they will be launched into the free spins bonus round.

Bonus Round

Landing two or more of the pretty translucent pyramid symbols on the centre reel triggers the free spins bonus round in Crown of Egypt. This is not that hard as Crown of Egypt has four reels instead of the usual three, so the chances are higher of this happening. The reels used in the free spins bonus game are more valuable than the reels used in the normal game, so this increases the players earnings by quite a bit.

MultiWay Xtra Feature

This feature is unique to IGT and serves to make to more mundane casino slots slightly more exciting. Players will have to be playing with all 40 lies to activate it but it is worth it. A player can now win not just on standard paylines, but if matching symbols rock up on adjacent paylines they count too. This feature does cost more, but you should win more out of it.
